Tuska Festival 2004, day 2

17.07. Saturday
Woke up, still pretty drunk and started the day off with some Jägermeister and beer. We went down to the local pizzeria and had some food and more beers, enjoying the fuck out of Finland. Then we left for the festival.
When we got there we met up with Anders of Unleashed and Jenny Lund, long-time friends of K’s. We soon ran out of beer-tickets so K explained the situation to one of the guys involved, and then we ended up with some 20 of those tickets. Thanx alot guys for being the coolest. This whole day we didn’t care too much about seeing any bands, it was more fun to hang out drinking with our friends.
Thanx to some people, this day turned out excellent though, mainly thanx to one reason. We aren’t called “Global Domination” for nothing, you know. You can see for yourselves what we are talking about…

Anyfuckenways… Tarja was all cool and fuck-all nice. There’s no way we’ll write anything bad about her, we’ll just like to dedicate these photos to the little Nightwish-elves out there, and we expect the photos to end up on all yer walls.
Thanx to one of our friends for taking care of this, thanx to the tourmanager of Nightwish for doing a good job arranging this and huge thanx to Tarja for taking the time to pose with the Lord, as well as bullshitting a bit about stuff-stuff. We love you guys.
After this excellent event, K ended up doing some interviews. Nalle of Chaosbreed did one shortie about the famous Nightwish-review and a few other things. Some TV-channel did a piece with K about his beard and NHL-hockey. The guy who did the interview, was a LA Kings fan. K made sure the interviewer now knows they suck. All good fun.
Bands
Dark Tranquillity: Funny thing about Dark Tranquillity… Of all the people we asked what bands they were going to see at the festival, 90% of them mentioned DT. We didn’t know they had this huge a crowd in Finland, and they pretty much drew (Barrymore) as much people as In Flames did. Impressive. They did a great show for sure. Hannastacia thought the vocalist was excellent, and we all know how picky she is with small things like that. Although we only listened to three songs or so, near the stage, the sound was more than killer. The sound was excellent backstage as well, so we decided to sit down on the lawn there to listen to the rest of the show, with some friends and… well, beer. Of course.
Nightwish: K saw a few songs of this show, but was too busy being in love with the photo-session with Tarja to actually remember anything of it (a.k.a. being pissdrunk). Hannastacia didn’t see this as she was too busy being in love with the beer and Statik didn’t see more than 2 songs becoz he was pissdrunk as well. But we managed to take a shitty photo or two of the show at least, which means we must have witnessed it.
